HUMAN RIGHTS ADVOCACY
 STATEMENT AND POLICY

1. Statement

 

MPMA and MPRT are committed to respecting, protecting, and promoting the dignity, safety, rights, and welfare of all candidates, employees, trainees, migrant workers, and stakeholders connected with our recruitment and training activities.

MPMA and MPRT recognise that overseas employment must be carried out through lawful, ethical, transparent, and responsible migration practices.

2. Commitment to Human Rights

 

1. Treat every candidate and employee with dignity, fairness, and respect.
2. Prohibit forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, trafficking, coercion, intimidation, harassment, and exploitation.
3. Ensure that candidates participate in training, documentation, selection, and deployment voluntarily and with proper information.
4. Provide candidates with clear information on job role, country of employment, employer details, wages, benefits, fees, documents, risks, and employment conditions, wherever applicable.
5. Respect the labour, immigration, manpower, and jurisdictional laws of every destination country.
6. Follow applicable Indian laws, Ministry of External Affairs requirements, Protector of Emigrants procedures, and destination-country manpower regulations.
7. Avoid discrimination based on caste, religion, language, region, gender, disability, social status, or economic background.
8. Protect candidate documents, personal data, certificates, and confidential information.
9. Provide a grievance mechanism for candidates and employees.
10. Ensure that no candidate is misled through false promises, illegal fee collection, document withholding, or pressure to accept employment.

3. Ethical Overseas Recruitment

 

MPMA shall conduct overseas recruitment-related activities only through lawful and authorised channels.

Candidates shall be guided regarding employment terms, documentation, emigration requirements, destination-country rules, safety, and grievance channels.

MPMA shall not knowingly support any recruitment activity involving exploitation, illegal deployment, forced labour, unsafe employment, or violation of manpower laws.

4. Training Centre Responsibility

 

MPRT shall maintain a safe, respectful, and disciplined learning environment.

All trainers, employees, and representatives shall treat candidates professionally and shall not
verbally, physically, financially, or emotionally exploit them.

MPRT shall ensure that practical training is conducted with proper supervision, safety precautions,
and candidate welfare in mind.

5. Candidate Welfare

 

MPMA and MPRT shall take reasonable steps to ensure that candidates are properly informed and prepared before overseas deployment.

This includes awareness on:
1. Job role and working conditions.
2. Salary and benefits.
3. Contract terms.
4. Country rules and discipline.
5. Safety and workplace conduct.
6. Legal migration procedures.
7. Emergency and grievance channels.

6. Non-Discrimination and Equal Treatment

 

All candidates shall be treated fairly and assessed based on skill, eligibility, experience, training performance, documentation, and client requirements.
No candidate shall be denied fair treatment on discriminatory grounds.

7. Grievance Redressal

 

Candidates, trainees, employees, or stakeholders may raise concerns relating to discrimination, harassment, unsafe practices, illegal fee collection, document handling, misconduct, or exploitation.


All genuine complaints shall be reviewed fairly, confidentially.

8. Review

 

This policy shall be reviewed periodically and updated as required to remain aligned with applicable laws, ethical recruitment standards, international labour principles, and candidate welfare requirements

9. Approval

 

This Human Rights Advocacy Statement and Policy is approved by the management of MPMA and MPRT.
